The C&V INFANTRY BURSARY is open to individuals who meet ALL of the following criteria:
- individuals who are attending a Post-Secondary Educational Institution in the Province of Ontario;
- who are attaining their FIRST post-secondary program of study;
- and who are a permanent resident in Canada or a Canadian citizen.
Although it is not mandatory, applicants demonstrating financial need and volunteer experience will get preferential treatment by the selection committee.
About Scholarship
Christopher Infantry, on behalf of Infintree Investment Group Inc., is pleased to announce the C&V INFANTRY BURSARY.
The C&V INFANTRY BURSARY is intended to provide recipients with the opportunity to start, grow and/or scale their passions & ideas via entrepreneurship or academia. There are no stipulations on how the funds are used, as long as it is put towards the applicant's education and/or business endeavours.
Three (3) bursaries of Five-Hundred Canadian Dollars ($500.00 CDN) each will be awarded to the selected applicants. Each bursary is a cash award holding no responsibility for payback, shares/corporate equity or association with present or future execution of the recipients’ respective ideas.
A personal statement, 500 words or fewer, detailing what success means to you will be required to submit your application. You may wish to consider how your studies or future work will contribute to your "success." Be authentic. Speak about your passion & ideas. There are no right or wrong answers. The selection committee is looking for an individual that shows dedication, enthusiasm and forward-thinking business acumen.
Applicants that advance through the first round of selection will be required to submit supporting documents to be further considered for the bursary award. This selective group of applicants will be emailed directly and will be required to respond with the following documents (attached in .pdf, .doc or .txt format) in a timely manner.
- Proof of registration / Acceptance from the post-secondary institution
- Reference letter from a friend, teacher, guidance counsellor, coach, employer, community or social worker, doctor, religious leader or similar professional who can support the application
- A copy of OSAP estimate (if applicable)
Bursary winners will be selected and notified on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020. Recipients will receive a disbursement of their funds no later than Wednesday, September 30th, 2020.
Due to anticipated volume, please excuse the fact that the selection committee will not be able to respond to each application; only those selected will be contacted. If you do not hear from us indicating your selection, please do not be discouraged. There will be other opportunities.
