This scholarship is for any queer* young person studying business at no higher than the college level. With this scholarship we want to encourage queer young people to go into business.
*Queer in this sense refers to anything other than cisgender and heterosexual.
About Scholarship
As business continues to dominate systems of power, we must look to who the leaders are making key decisions affecting the world around them.
A well documented issue in business is the dominance of cisgender, traditionally educated, white heterosexual men in positions of power. We propose challenging this reality by lifting up any way possible marginalized peoples who can speak truth to power and shake up this current dynamic.
Preference for this scholarship will be given to students pursuing studies in sales, marketing or entrepreneurship at the college level, but will be awarded based on the applicants each cycle.
