The Encompass Credit Union Board of Directors annually appoints a scholarship selection committee to review applications. The committee ranks all applications in three categories, for a maximum aggregate point score of 100.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT

English 30, Social 30 or 33, Math or Science, two 5-credit 30-level course

These grades will be part of the academic achievement that will be taken from your transcripts: English/Language Arts 30-1 or 30-2 blended course mark, Social Studies 30 or 33 blended course mark, Highest Math or Science mark, blended if departmental exam written and any 2 highest courses from any 5-credit, 30-level course excluding 35-level courses and CTS courses.

About Scholarship

Encompass Credit Union is proud to offer this scholarship to our Members who are currently accepted to a post-secondary institution! We recognize the importance of education and the role it plays in personal and professional fulfillment.  That's why we want to help these students to attain their educational goals and reach their full potential. Applications for apprenticeship programs will not be considered at this time. 

We are always looking for students who have shown a passion for bettering their local communities!

You must be a member of Encompass Credit Union to apply for this scholarship. You must be currently enrolled and attending post secondary when the scholarship is awarded in February of each year. You cannot be awarded if you're still in Grade 12. 

We're a full service credit union, offering all the product and services you'd expect from a bank, but better. Encompass Credit Union cares about our communities, contributing thousands back into our local communities we serve in Alberta. 

Applications will be accepted until the deadline of January 10, 2022. Scholarships will be announced publicly on February 17, 2022 at Encompass Credit Union's virtual annual general meeting.
