Program (Not Required): Child and Youth Care, Disability Studies, Education, or Speech Therapy

Any program with a focus on working with children or youth will be considered — that means that you can apply if your degree is not listed above!
About Scholarship
Are you passionate about working with children and teens? Then this is the scholarship for you! Guardians of the Children Leamington is looking for one compassionate, community-driven candidate to grant our $500 scholarship to.
Requirements:
The recipient must be in 12th grade and attend high school in Windsor-Essex county.
The recipient must be on track to enter a youth-focused diploma or degree program for the Fall 2025 semester (does not need to be a local university/college).
The recipient must be able to provide proof that they are enrolled in their program.
Proof of Enrolment:
For a proof of enrolment document to be valid, it must be issued from the institution and contain all of the below:
- Full name of student
- School name (letterhead, school logo or website address)
- Academic term and year enrolled
- Date issued
- Program of study
Examples of valid documents:
- Enrolment letter
- Invoice or payment receipt for tuition
- Timetable or course schedule
- Electronic document (email or screenshot of above)
