We will be especially interested in supporting single parents (or children of single parents) seeking to better themselves.
At this time Scholarships are only for those residing in, and going to/will be going to school in Alberta.
One of the three scholarships will be reserved for First Nations/Metis or Innu applicants if there are any in the pool, if not it will be disbursed to the general applicant pool
About Scholarship
We are Calgary family who are fortunate to be settled in life, and are interested in helping those less fortunate and especially those in financial need to help them get educated in any field of study with the aim of betterment. We have an international outlook, support diversity and inclusion in the broadest context, and have a liberal outlook and are accepting of people of all faiths or not of any faith.
For the right candidate , and for those who are able to maintain their grades, we would be open to considering a recurring grant during the winter and fall school terms. We generally favour those from visible minorities, or single parents, or those with a physical disability but are open to hearing from those who have a unique situational challenge and desire financial assistance to progress their schooling.
