The Sabic Leadership Scholarship, by the Ben Sabic Foundation, is for young Canadians from across the nation, who embody leadership skills and endeavour to make a difference in their community.

Two scholarships are available for post-secondary students who are enrolled in a program leading to a degree, diploma or certificate at an accredited educational institution in Canada or aboard.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate leadership skills with a focus on community service, describe what degree their level of involvement in the community has been, and state why volunteering is important to them.
Recipients of the scholarship embody a desire to make a difference and positively impact the lives of others throughout their lifetime.
There are two $1,000 scholarships available. To be eligible, applicants must:
The foundation values community involvement to a greater extent than academic excellence and seeks to support the development of young leaders. Therefore, an applicant’s ability to succeed in an educational environment or lack thereof and their grade point average will not be considered when evaluating applications.
The foundation will prioritize applicants who have been financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Ben Sabic Foundation is a private foundation established by Ben Sabic in 2020.

Applications are collected by ScholarTree on behalf of the provider of the scholarship. By submitting an application, applicants acknowledge the criteria outlined in the description of the scholarship provided above and agree they meet the criteria. Successful applicants who are later deemed to be ineligible may have their acceptance revoked.
