Scholarship Program

With the funding received from corporate and public donors, Canada Company oversees the Scholarship Program Fund. An independent Scholarship Fund Oversight Committee supports Canada Company in ensuring that bereaved children have the opportunity to receive scholarship grants for their post-secondary education. This oversight committee also determines the eligibility criteria, disburses the funds, and makes recommendations to Canada Company for future funding requirements.

In response to the ever-evolving needs of the Canadian Armed Forces and its members, Canada Company has announced an enhancement to the Scholarship Program. Thanks to additional contributions made to the fund in 2016, Canada Company was to expand its Scholarship Program to include the children of serving military members who have taken their own lives, as deemed attributable to their military service.

Canada Company began in May 2006, at the height of the Afghanistan conflict, with a pledge to stand shoulder to shoulder with our troops for the sacrifices they make every day. As champions for our soldiers, Canada Company strives to protect the legacy of our soldiers and leverage their unique skillset and experiences to improve our nation.

The organization has since grown to over 1,000 donors and become an influential voice advocating for our troops at home and abroad. Through scholarship programs and charitable endeavours, Canada Company supports military members and their families across Canada.

Canada Company has established a reputation among senior military leaders, media, and members of the business community for fostering a meaningful exchange between the Canadian Armed Forces and the corporate world.
