Two $2,000 scholarships are given out each year to non-members.
Non-Members of Motor City who are applying must be:
- Enrolled in a degree or diploma program at a recognized post-secondary institution
- Become a member of Motor City if they are selected as a winner of one of the $2,000.00 awards.

Standing true to the Credit Union philosophies, Motor City is a supporter of many non-profit organizations, social groups, young business leaders, local sports & youth groups and environmentally friendly cooperatives.
It is our goal to maintain and continue to keep the true principles of our local credit union system. Credit Unions are here, for the people in our community, supporting our community, run by and governed by our members.
Note: Candidates are eligible to receive bursaries again for each year of post-secondary enrollment but only one bursary per application per year will be awarded to an individual.
