During this school year, did you find and use one or more great locations for a student film or video shoot?
If you did, you could win a $2,000 award from Spacefy Inc.
Our application process is quick and easy. To be considered for the award, all you need to do is:
- Upload some stills from your project that show how the location or locations were used.
- Answer a few short questions online.
- Upload a quick and simple selfie video of yourself, explaining why you think your use of locations was particularly creative or effective for your project.
- Post your stills to Instagram and your selfie video to YouTube.
About Scholarship
At Spacefy, we believe in the incredible talent emerging from Humber year after year, and in the wealth of excellent film locations to be found in the greater Toronto area.
To help create stronger ties to the creative community, we want to celebrate emerging Canadian talent, the role of the location manager and the role of great locations in productions at every level of the industry, from grassroots to large productions. That's why this year we are very pleased to introduce the Spacefy Award for Excellence in Location Management for Humber Film and Media Production.
This $2,000 award will be given to a Humber College Film and Media Production Student who makes the most imaginative and impactful use of a location or locations as part of a 3rd or 4th year student project.
