About Scholarship
Katherina Mayer immigrated to Canada in the 1950’s. She worked tirelessly to build a family and become one of the first female Realtors of her time. She continued to build her business and foster the lives of her family and those around her.
When Katherina’s youngest granddaughter needed a place to stay with her partner and new baby, she opened up her home. This generosity nurtured the young couple until they were able to finish school, stand on their own two feet, and start a life together.
This young couple is now the two owners of The Mayer-Harman Team. They wish to pay it forward and support young, ambitious students who are planning to make their own mark on this world.
