Welcome to the Young Mining Professionals Scholarship Fund! We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for this year’s scholarship.
We welcome applications from students who are currently enrolled in, or have been accepted to, a mining-related program at a Canadian post-secondary institution. The program can be at the undergraduate or graduate level.

About Company
The Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 by the Young Mining Professionals group, IAMGOLD Corporation and Orefinder’s Resources. The Fund was designed to help students who have demonstrated superior leadership, determination and an entrepreneurial spirit towards the mining industry.
Since establishment, the Fund has increased its awards from $12,000 in 2018 to $210,000 in 2022, making it Canada’s largest mining specific scholarship fund!
